Sublimation

Sublimation is the change in states of matter from solid to gas or from gas to solid. When the temperature of the particles constituent a solid substances is increased, then the particles will sublimate into gas. Conversely, when the gas temperature is lowered, the gas will soon change its form into a solid.

Sublimation is the process of changing substances from solid to vapor phase, and the vapor condensed directly into a solid without passing through the liquid phase. In the process of sublimation, a solid compound will sublimate when heated, direct change from solid to vapor without passing through the liquid phase advance.

Camphor, iodine crystals, insecticides paradiklorobenzen is one example. Solid carbon dioxide sublimes also in certain circumstances. This is often called "dry ice" because it is used for keep objects in order to stay cool. For such purposes, as well as dry ice does not wet objects that cooled.
